SM Entertainment’s new girl group, Hearts2Hearts, finally made their debut with The Chase on 24 February, and let’s just say, Knetz had a lot to say about it.

Before the song even dropped, fans were buzzing with curiosity about their concept.

But now that the MV is out, the online forums are on fire with mixed opinions.

Some say The Chase gives off serious Red Velvet vibes, while others think it’s just too dull for a debut track.

“I like it, but it sounds like an RV side track… why did they pick this for a debut? I don’t get their direction,” one netizen questioned.

“Is this kind of song trendy now? The moment I heard it, I knew it was SM,” another added.

While some appreciated the RV + f(x) fusion, others felt it lacked impact. “It’s niceㅋㅋ Has that rookie charm,” one netizen praised.

But not everyone was sold. “This doesn’t feel like a title track… not catchy, just boring,” a critic argued.

Another bluntly said, “This is a weak debut song.”

And of course, comparisons to other groups were inevitable. “They feel like a lighter version of NMIXX,” one user noted.

So, love it or hate it, Hearts2Hearts is here. What do you think—underrated masterpiece or just another forgettable debut?
