The decision comes after internal investigations regarding matters linked to his personal life, which the company states made it difficult to continue a professional relationship based on mutual trust.
In the official release, One Hundred shared that they immediately halted Haknyeon’s activities upon learning of the situation, opting to carry out a thorough fact-checking process.
“After recognising the seriousness of the issue and holding in-depth discussions with the other members, we concluded that Ju Haknyeon could no longer remain a part of the team,” the agency wrote. “As of today, his exclusive contract has been terminated, and he will cease all activities under THE BOYZ.”

One Hundred assured fans that the remaining ten members of THE BOYZ will be fully supported going forward. “We’ll continue doing our utmost to provide the group with a healthy and steady environment,” they added, closing the statement with an apology for the concern caused.
